The Seventh Sunday After Pentecost

In today’s sermon, Deacon Moore speaks about the potentially painful task of separating the wheat from the weeds.  The sorting and separating of the wheat and the weeds happens at the harvest; for now, they grow together.  We live in the ‘not yet’ as we await the coming of God’s Kingdom.

Today’s readings are Isaiah 44:6-8; Romans 8:12-25 and the Gospel According to Matthew 13:24-30,36-43.  Follow along with our online bulletin, which can be found by clicking here.
