The Nursery is open during both the 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday services.
During each week’s 9:30 a.m. church service, from the Gospel procession to the Peace, Children’s Chapel takes place in the Parish Hall. Children begin in the main service in the Church, and then follow an acolyte out to the Parish Hall before the Gospel procession.
Children’s Chapel is a kid-friendly version of the liturgy from the main church service. We sing a few songs, hear a children’s sermon, and have a child-led Prayers of the People. The children return to the main church service at the Peace.
Sunday School for Children
All Children Sunday School participants (Pre-K through 12th graders) come up to receive Communion first during the 9:30 a.m. service. They then exit into the parish office hallway and check in at the Sunday School check-in table near the office door. After check in, students will go to their respective Sunday School classrooms. Parents can pick their children up from their classrooms at 11:15 a.m. During Sunday School, children receive a Bible lesson, work on crafts, eat a snack, and engage in other activities that strengthen their faith and teach them about their Christian heritage.
