Clayton Bricklemeyer (2028)

Clayton began attending St. John’s in 2004 with his wife Sarah after growing up in Tampa as a member of Hyde Park United Methodist.  Both of his sons, Jack (20) and Tommy (15), were baptized and confirmed at St. John’s and have acolyted and been heavily involved in the youth ministry.  Clayton has been involved in the Father’s ministry, the youth ministry and various couples ministries.  Most notably, he served as “husband to the Senior Warden” when Sarah served in 2023, which included a host of duties, including the rector selection process that brought us Father Chris.

Clayton graduated from Wake Forest University in 2000 and the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004.  He has practiced real estate and land use law in Tampa since 2004 and is a shareholder at Hill Ward Henderson.  Clayton is involved in a number of development-industry trade associations and has been on the Board of Managers for Camp Rockmont for the last 5 years.

St. John’s is a hugely important part of Clayton’s life and he is honored to have been asked to run for the vestry.
