Fr. Fred retired on January 31, 2020 after serving as Rector of Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota for nearly 26 years. Prior to coming to Florida, Fr. Fred was Rector of Grace Church, Monroe, Louisiana, and before that was Rector of St. Andrew’s Church, Grand Prairie, Texas. Both of his parishes in Louisiana and Texas had parochial schools and he looks forward to working in a parish with a school once again. He is currently Editor of The Anglican Digest. Fr. Fred was Interim Rector at Saint John’s during 2021.
Fr. Fred and his wife, Linda, have two grown children: Michael, who is married to Shayna and they have one daughter, Ayla (almost 2 yrs old), and live in Providence, RI; and Rebecca, who lives in NYC.
