Brett D. Divers, Senior Warden (2022)

Brett is a life-long Episcopalian and a Tampa native.  He was baptized at St. Andrew’s and served as an acolyte there for many years.  Brett and his wife, Pam, have two children, Ryan and Hayley, who were long-serving acolytes before leaving for college. Brett and his family usually attend the 9:15 a.m. service and have been attending St. John’s for more than twenty years.

Brett serves as an usher, is a past Chair of the Every Member Canvass, served on the inaugural board of the church’s endowment fund, and served on a committee that helped select the capital campaign consultant who will assist with the transformation of the Middle School campus on Platt Street.

Brett has considerable experience working on the boards of local non-profit, charitable, and civic organizations.  He served as Berkeley Preparatory School’s board chair and as chair of its search, finance, development, annual giving, leadership and compensation, and capital campaign committees.  Brett is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Bank of Tampa.

Brett graduated from Dartmouth College and then received his law degree from the University of Florida.  He co-founded Mills Paskert Divers in 2002 after having worked for several years at a large local law firm.  Brett is a business litigator with particular expertise in construction, surety, and fidelity matters.
