Holy Eucharist is two-fold. It names the second part of our service of worship and that of which we partake during worship. It is the climax of our time together in Christ as we offer to God praise and thanksgiving for the life he has brought, is bringing and will bring to us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As Anglicans, we confess that through the common bread and wine God makes his mystical body avaiable to us, to nourish us and sustain us until his coming in glory. We believe that through this meal God makes us to be his one Body, the church, and sets us apart for his good pleasure.
We welcome all persons who have been baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to receive this sacrament with us, admonishing all people to receive the consecrated bread and wine with fear and trembling, acknowledging also that it is not our faithfulness that makes us worthy to receive, but this sacrament that makes us worthy to participate in God's good life.
