Baptism is the Holy Spirit's work of bringing all people into fellowship with God. We welcome young and old to the font to receive this sacrament, but do so with the intention that the Baptized become a true participant in the life of Christ's Body here in St. John's.

If you are not a member of St. John's, you will need to schedule a meeting with the Rector before being considered or having your child considered for holy baptism. There is a baptismal preparation class for all parents seeking baptism for their children, and adult baptisms are a case by case instructional basis.

The next baptismal class scheduled is for August 10, 17 and 24, which is for Fall scheduled baptisms. So, if you are expecting or have recently received the gift of a child, be sure to contact the parish offices today at 813.259.1570.
