As the church we are called to live our lives communally. The Apostle Paul tells us in his first letter to the Corinthians that "a body is not a single organ, but many" (1Cor 12:14). We in St. John's strive in all manners to truly live as Christ's Body. "If one part suffers, all suffer together; if one flourishes, all rejoice together" (1Cor 12:26).

In order to live this intentional life we engage in fellowship with one another through potluck dinners, dinner clubs, newcomer gatherings, The Circle, and a variety of other fellowship offerings. Each fellowship offering is intended to provide regular opportunities for communal interaction that will also give rise to more spontaneous engagements with others in the parish.

We recognize that everyone's daily schedules are not the same, but we confess that our life together is vital to our becoming the faithful followers of Jesus Christ we are called to be. We invite you, therefore, to make the sacrifices necessary to maintain the vitality of life that we enjoy in St. John's Church.
