Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring communion from the Sunday Service of worship to those who are incapable, due to infirmity, of attending the regular service in church.

"We who are many are one as we share one bread and one cup," is the constant reminder that what takes place when we eat the bread and drink the wine of communion something more than bread and wine enters our bodies. In some mysterious way, the Holy Spirit moves through the elements and nourishes our souls, making us one with God and each other.
