In response to our expanding partnership relationship with the Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation (BMCF), Kasese, Uganda, and St. John’s Episcopal Parish Day School’s Sister School relationship with Kamaiba Primary School, Kasese, Uganda, the mission team from summer 2006 and other interested parishioners and school parents now meet on a monthly basis to support the work of our Uganda missions and ministry. New projects include: the development of a website linked to the St. John’s Parish Webpage, the exploration of grant funding through Tampa area community groups and service organizations, attracting participation in BMCF clinic and HIV/AIDS efforts through a possible medical mission team visit next summer and a continued scholarship program through the Parish Day School. |
