Lay Readers conduct Morning Prayer services each Sunday for the residents of the Health Care Center at Canterbury Towers.

Because of the qualifications required, there is an application and interview procedure for these ministries. Lay Readers and Lay Eucharistic Ministers must be licensed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Southwest Florida after the approval of the Rector and the Vestry.  Training is provided.
