The Shepherds

The Shepherds assist the clergy at the end of the service in welcoming newcomers and visitors to St. John's.  Once the clergy has greeted a newcomer at the door, the clergy member introduces the newcomer to the Shepherd, who then makes sure that the newcomer receives information about St. John's.  The Shepherds' main goals are to the make the newcomer feel welcome, hand out a packet of information, answer any questions, and be an initial source of contact for someone who might be searching for a new parish.
