The Outreach Committee meets regularly to coordinate St. John’s outreach activities and to make funding recommendations to the Vestry. Parishioners, who have accepted Bridge Builder assignments, report on the activities of the organizations for which they act as a liaison.

Mission Trip Update: May 2012

Dear People of St. John's Parish:

This year a number of our dedicated parishioners are traveling to do the work of Christ in places where help is desperately needed. We are sending this one request for financial sponsorship to everyone in our parish. The mission efforts for which we need support are in Uganda and in the Dominican Republic.

Ideas for Christmas

St. John’s Outreach Committee encourages everyone to “think alternatively” when it comes to Christmas shopping. Rather than spend all your money on gifts for people who already have all they need, why not consider gifts to help those who struggle to survive? It may be easy to write a check (and money is always useful), but Jesus asks for more.
