Grief Support Ministry Team

St. John’s Grief Support Ministry Team contacts family members following the death of a loved one to offer encouragement and support. The team also offers a Service of Remembrance, which includes a Eucharist, to give people an opportunity to pray for the departed by name and share a brief reflection in celebration of his or her life. A reception following the service helps them to connect with others in the church family who are mourning and to discover the resources available to them.
