Faith Café
Faith Café serves our neighbors in need with dignity and respect as Jesus served, offering food and referral to other organizations.  A lunchtime meal is served Monday through Saturday at a donated church hall on Kennedy Blvd. near Dale Mabry. This is a Metropolitan Ministries Community partnership site.  A clothing closet provides free clothing and toiletries to the guests. St. John’s is responsible for serving lunch on the last two Fridays of each month. Parishioners volunteer to drive to pick up the food, to be a volunteer coordinator of the day, and to be on-site volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up. The youth also participate on days they are available. There is an in-gathering of paper goods to stock the kitchen in September.
