St. John’s Children’s Ministry consists of many lively, spirit-filled activities and classes for children from three years of age through 5th grade. Contact Whitney Wolf with questions.
Sunday School for Children
Sunday School for children from 3 years old through 5th grade takes place during the 9:15 a.m. service in the Parish Hall. Children enter the church later in the service. During Sunday School, children receive a Bible lesson, do crafts, eat a snack, and do other activities that strengthen their faith and teach them about their Christian heritage.
If your child is already enrolled in Sunday School but your contact information or family details have changed since last year, please click here to download our Current Family Update Form to complete and return to the Parish Office at your convenience so that we can stay in touch!
Services for Families
Our monthly services for families with small children take place on the last Sunday of each month, August through March (no service in December), at 9:15 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The monthly Family Service is a casual and kid-friendly alternative to the formal service in the church, allowing us to introduce our youngest children to Episcopal lessons and traditions in a more relaxed environment. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
If your child is interested in reading for an upcoming Family Service, please contact our Family Service Coordinator, Kari Power to be added to our Reader Roster!
Mom’s Mornings at St. John’s
Vacation Bible School: June 19 – 23, 2017
MEGA Sports Camp is an award-winning, high-energy, volunteer-friendly outreach that engages kids from Pre-School through 6th Grade (Fall 2017) in physical activity while furthering their connection with God. Each day, kids will have the chance to play a fun sport like Soccer, Basketball or Cheerleading, while simultaneously learning biblical principles and discovering the five important things they can do to become winners as they learn to Conquer the Day! On the first day of camp, children will receive a T-Shirt and water bottle and will be sent home each day with fun theme keepers and a newsletter so you continue the dialogue at home!
As of March 26th, we have reached capacity and are not accepting new registrations at this time.
To be added to our WAITLIST in the event of cancellations, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
