Children and youth are an important and valued part of the St. John’s parish family. For our youngest members under three years old, a fully staffed nursery is available during the 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. St. John’s Children’s Ministry consists of many lively, spirit-filled activities and classes for children from three years of age through 5th grade, including Sunday School, which takes place during the 9:15 a.m. service. Children meet in the Parish Hall for an age-appropriate, Bible-based lesson. After some fun, a craft, and a snack, the children come into the Church to join their parents for Communion.
EYC, or Episcopal Youth Community, is our youth group. There are two age groups: Middle School (grades 6 through 8) and High School (grades 9 through 12). The groups are designed to give youth a place where they can have fun, meet life-long friends, be supported, and deepen their faith in Christ. Growing in maturity and in faith is easier and more fun when we grow together!
